Let me share some staggering statistics. According to an article by Karin Miller, Faith in Action, (*see statistic credits below)
50% of Evangelical Christians are registered to vote in our elections
25% of that original 50% show up at the poles to cast their vote
12.5% of that 25% are uninformed as they cast their votes
12.5% of Evangelical Christians are actually researching the candidates and applying Biblical principles as they cast their votes.
Friends, this means that 87.5% of Evangelical Christians are NOT even taking part in our elections!
No wonder fraud is rampant. No wonder we are leaving babies to die upon the table AFTER birth in Minnesota. No wonder we are confused about so many issues.
The deceiver of the world has caused God's people to relinquish our calling to be salt and light in this world.
Church-we are not even in the battle! We are on the sidelines, watching destruction on every side, scratching our heads and saying; how did we get here?
James 1:7 tells us; " So humble yourselves before God. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you."
Can I challenge the Church to step forward for such a time as this? Spend time in God's Word, talk to Him about this very important task before us. Ask Him to help us become involved.
I came across these Scriptures this morning. They are a poignant reminder as to why it is important for God's Church to rise up.
Ephesians 5:17-
With the Lord's authority let me say this: Live no longer as the ungodly do, for they are hopelessly confused. Their closed minds are full of darkness; they are far away from the life of God because they have shut their minds and hardened their hearts against him. They don't care anymore about right and wrong, and they have given themselves over to immoral ways. Their lives are filled with all kinds of impurity and greed.
Church-how can we save the confused ones, if we conform to their confusion? And if we can't rise up and vote for Godly principles, then how can we act surprised when transgenderism consumes and confuses an entire generation? And how can we help heal those whose lives have been changed through abortion, if we can't even acknowledge how this breaks the heart of God?
We can do better. We should do better. Jesus says it clearly in Matthew 5:13;
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, execpet to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."
Friends in Christ, let's examine ourselves before the Lord, have we lost our saltiness?
Father God, we repent of our apathetic ways. We repent that we have not been responsible in upholding righteousness and godliness to the highest standards of life. We ask you to raise up your people for such a time as this. Bring your ways back into this country. May we ask for your 10 commandments to rule again. May we ask that prayer to You, O God, be brought back into our schools. May we ask for your righteous rule to be over our state and our nation. God, we need you. Help us be salt and light in this dark world. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Very good piece. If reading this doesn't wake people up, I don't know what will. I think many believers have been brainwashed that God and Politics don't belong in the same sentence. They are wrong. If Christians don't vote, then we will live under the law or the consequences of the dark. God wants us to stand up and fight for what is right and true! Believers, Get off the couch and vote. Don't have the " we aren't going to win" anyway attitude. Without you, we won't win! Get up and fight!!
