Robin Dawn Sertell. My new friend. She's one of the gems that God puts in your life; an unexpected gift. Her story is an amazing one about a God who spends a lifetime pursuing His daughter.

I don't want to spill the beans about Robin's story but it is one filled with miracles, testimony and determination.

Her book, Miracles Happen in the Wilderness, tells of her amazing journey through pain and suffering as she struggled for life. You could say her battle started in the womb when her mom decided to abort the life within her. After 3 saline infusions, performed in the 3rd trimester of her mother's pregnancy, Robin was assumed dead. But God.

I always love the "but God". For when God steps in, well, you'll have to read her story to find out what God did for the little child who has become all too familiar with hospitals, doctors and pain. Ironically it could have all been prevented if someone had fought for Robin's life when she was being knit together in her mother's womb.

Robin's story also caused me to consider that the right we hear proclaimed today, "My Body . . . My Choice" is deceptive. Her dad didn't have a choice in this decision. And what about Robin? Her right to life was not considered. As only God can do, the work of the devil is destroyed as Robin believes in Jesus and chooses life.

You can listen to our interview with Robin at Standing on Truth MN. Her book is available at at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Robin has a new book that I look forward to reading as well, Beyond Roe. Happy reading, my friend.
