Oh Minnesota, Land That I Love-A Prayer for Minnesota

Lord, I pray that you put men and women whose hearts hunger for righteousness into our Senate and Congress. We pray that folks who stand for righteousness would infiltrate our offices of Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, and Attorney General.

We lift up each of Your people who are running for offices and ask that you continue to look upon them with favor. We come against the lies and pray for truth to be known. We pray Minnesota will be known as a state that walks in Your ways, under your authority.

We pray for clarity over the people of Minnesota. We ask that you open our eyes, grant us discernment and help us see the truth so that we can vote with clarity and precision.

And we pray over the vote for the primary election. May your children exercise their right to vote. May they become informed and vote for Your principles. May Your will be done in our government. May Your authority be the rule of the land of 10,000 lakes.

Lord, we recognize that the enemy attempts to claim this territory but we have You. We ask SPECIFICALLY that You, O LORD GOD, would reign across Minnesota AND this nation.

The enemy may think he’s won BUT GOD!

But God loves the people of this state and this nation. And God ALWAYS hears and answers the heartfelt prayers of His people, those who are surrendered to Him.

We come before You today, humbled, seeking your face, praying, and confident in You. For your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Convict our hearts where we need correction. Draw each one of us unto You. When You become our focus, You will have your way.

Thank you, Mighty God. May this coming election prove that there is no God like our God. And may You be glorified because You are worthy of it all.

Let us return to You, humble ourselves before your throne, turn from our wicked ways and seek Your face.
