One Nation-Under God

Today let's decree that America IS one nation under God.

Let's be a people that will stand and declare that this country, America, founded on the principles of God, is indeed a country where the rule of God will reign. We declare that we will serve and honor the One who created all things, first and foremost.

Let's declare that we will no longer be a people that follow after evil, killing our babies, confusing our children, leading by corrupt and selfish means. Instead let's be a people who love our neighbors as ourselves. A people who stand strong in the face of adversity.

Let us stand on the statutes that God himself wrote upon the tablets that He gave to Moses in the wilderness. Let us write the Ten Commandments upon our hearts. May we hold ourselves accountable to God. In Deuteronomy 28, we are told that those who are obedient to God will be exalted above all nations of the world. This chapter then goes on to list the many ways with which the Lord God blesses a people who walk in obedience. May we be that people, those who are obedient to God. I decree that America will turn her heart towards God and follow in His ways.

May God look upon us with favor. and bless our comings and goings. May He add strength to our convictions, hope for our future, and peace within our land.

Dear God, we come before you and recognize that you ARE the author and creator of all that we see, America the beautiful. She holds your majestic mountains, the endless waters that surround her, the rivers and valleys that flow throughout her land. She also holds your beautiful children. Draw us back to you, O God. May we be a people who fall under your authority and worship you alone. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
