I’ve been blessed to hear many people speak up about their passions in my quest to learn more about our government, candidates, and Minnesota. This morning I would like to highlight one of those groups, the Child Protection League.
According to their website, *Child Protection League was created by parents and community members who actively opposed a proposed law, the Safe and Supportive Minnesota Schools Act known as the Bullying Bill in 2013. For more on that, you can watch a short video on their website, under the “About Us” page. CPL continues to educate the public and expose issues that harm children in our schools and in our culture.
Not only does their mission promote the welfare of children, it protects them from exploitation, indoctrination and violence. They educate citizens on issues and equip and activate parents and others to reclaim self-governance.
As I scrolled through their web pages, I was brought to tears when I watched their short video called CLP Protecting Children 2013-2015 .
I spent 25 plus years in a local high school and watched as we taught our children acceptance. With that acceptance came confusion. CLP is on the front lines. They are tackling heavy issues; from governance to curriculum, and many, many issues in between.
I hope you will check out their website. You may be moved like I was. The Lord seemed to remind me of the Scripture in Matthew 18:10; “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.”
We have a great responsibility to these little ones. Who will stand in the gap for them?
Child Protection League is doing a great job. Thanks to them for their hard work! May God bless them as they continue their efforts.to
